Femibion Pregnancy Metafolin + DHA 28 Tablets + 28 Capsules is a nutrient-based food supplement designed to supplement the specific nutritional needs of pregnant and breastfeeding women thanks to its new formula. Omega 3 (DHA) contributes to the normal development of the eyes and brain of the unborn and breastfeeding child.
Femibion Pregnancy Metafolin® + DHA provides :
- Folates (vitamin B9) in two forms: folic acid and Metafolin® (directly active and easily assimilated by your body), a sufficient intake of which is necessary for the course of the pregnancy. Folates are important because they contribute to the growth of maternal tissue during pregnancy.
- DHA: Maternal intakes of DHA (omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acid) contribute to the normal development of the brain and eyes of the unborn and nursing child*.
- 10 vitamins including vitamin D.
- Iodine, which contributes to normal thyroid function.
- Iron, which contributes to the normal formation of red blood cells and hemoglobin.
- Selenium and zinc which contribute to the normal functioning of the immune system.
- Magnesium that helps reduce fatigue.
* The beneficial effect of DHA is obtained with a daily intake of 200 mg of DHA in addition to the recommended daily intake for omega 3 fatty acids in adults, i.e. 250 mg DHA and EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid).
