Essity Cutimed HydroControl 10 Moisture Regulating Dressings With Hydropolymer Absorbent 10cm x 10cm are sterile moisture regulating dressings. They are indicated for dry and low exuding wounds such as venous, arterial or mixed ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers. They can be used under compression.
They are composed of a semi-permeable polyurethane film and an adhesive layer of hydropropylene honeycombed absorbent and soft for the skin. The latter protects the wound from drying out and creates a suitable environment for moist wound healing by absorbing exudates. Partial hydration of the dressing facilitates the autolytic debridement process. The polyurethane film provides a highly breathable barrier against bacteria, viruses and fluids. The honeycomb structure of the dressing makes it particularly flexible. The high air and water vapour permeability of the honeycomb structure reduces the risk of maceration.
They are cuttable and semi-permeable.
